What does painting a home or building, coating a parking deck, painting a machine, or applying roof coatings all have in common? Before any of these processes can start, the surface must be clean. The most common way to prepare a surface is by pressure washing.
A dirty building façade does not always need repainting. Commercial pressure washing services can transform building exteriors and consumers’ impressions of your business or facility. If you have ever washed a dirty car and afterwards been asked if it is new, you understand the importance and impact of a clean, fresh building. When exterior paint is relatively new or simply in good condition, pressure washing may be all that is needed.
From your storefront to your parking lot, dumpster servicing area to restaurant patio, from your athletic facility to bank, hotel to private home, dirt and grime will add up on roofs, walls, railings and decks. A renewing scrub from a high quality pressure washing and cleaning contractor will increase curb appeal and elevate the look and feel of your entire facility.
A few things to consider when searching for and pricing pressure washing and cleaning contractors:
When done well, pressure washing is more than just “point and shoot.” It involves technique: consideration of wall openings so water isn’t forced into them (creating mold), using the right force, the right mild chemicals, and just letting the products do the work.

This will vary greatly depending on the size of the home, the working conditions of the site, the amount of decking to clean and the overall conditions of the structure. The cost could be as little $800-$1100.
The short answer is, yes, it could. Our crews are trained in various tactics that will help prevent damage to wood siding and decks. By using low pressure, wide fan tips, agitation by brushing and mild cleaning detergents your wood surfaces can be cleaned thoroughly and gently! If someone who is not trained in proper washing techniques starts blasting away however, a lot of damage can be done in a short amount of time.
It depends on the type of roof and the condition it is in currently. When washing a residential roof, we use very low pressure and additional cleaning detergents. Also, we only wash from the ridge down. This will prevent any water from being blown into the home. When washing a commercial metal roof before coating, some leaks usually do occur. This is because of the overlapping structure of a metal roof and also due to the condition of the roof. By the time most businesses decide to have their roof coated, the roof is already very loose from thermal shock (and leaks are often already an issue). We take steps to limit potential leaks, but a little bit of water typically does get in.
If any surface is washed too aggressively it can be damaged. However, as long as your current paint job is not peeling and in good condition, it should not be damaged by a regular pressure washing.
Pressure washing the exterior of your facility can make it look new again.
Every building gets dirty and generally there is mildew present on most exterior surfaces. Cleaning it and getting rid of mildew is easy and safe.
Houses, sidewalks, driveways and other surfaces and all be brought back to life with a good cleaning.
