Winter, seems like the time of year you either love or hate! It’s the somewhat never ending season of cold, dreary days. It’s sitting around wishing the sun would peak out from behind the clouds just long enough. Sadly, we can’t escape winter, unless of course we move to South America, but there are things we can do to help beat the winter blues.
Since most of our time in winter is spent inside, it makes the most sense to revamp your interior space. So why not start with a fresh coat of interior paint? Here are a few design pointers to helping beat winter blues!
Add warm colors to your palate. Go for choices like yellow, red, or orange. Don’t feel like painting an entire room a bright color? No problem, choose an accent wall or trim to spruce up.
Once your room is freshly painted, add some warm lamps to help brighten the space. Be sure to avoid harsh fluorescent bulbs. Instead choose soft, warm white bulbs to soften the room.
Head to the local nursery and choose something green! Having a living plant in your space helps improve your outlook.
