Can you really coat over my existing floor without tearing it out?
Yes, that's the entire point of renewal. Our system is designed to bond directly over most commercial flooring surfaces, including LVT, VCT, vinyl, linoleum, rubber, epoxy, concrete, wood, and tile. As long as the existing floor is sound, there's no demolition and no disposal, which is most of where the cost and downtime of replacement come from.
How is this different from waxing or refinishing my floor?
Wax is temporary by design. It wears down, needs stripping, and gets reapplied on a cycle that never ends. Custom Floor Renewal is a permanent, sealed coating, so it replaces that cycle instead of repeating it. The upfront work may be more involved than waxing, but the payoff is not doing it again every few months.
Will the floor be slippery?
It doesn't have to be. Anti-slip options are available and can be specified to meet ADA and OSHA slip-resistance requirements, with the level of traction matched to how the space gets used. A kitchen and a showroom have different needs, and the spec follows the space.
How long before we can use the floor again?
