Find Out How To Keep Your Catawba County Home Walls Shiny And Wonderful
It happens little by little until one day it’s staring you in the face- a dirty, marked up wall.
This happens in every house and room. It can be food stains, shoe scuffs, kids, and those mystery marks that just show up. However they got there, they’re still making your walls dirty.
And you can see every one of them.
If you can see them your guests probably can too. That means it’s definitely time to clean your painted walls. But you don’t want to try cleaning them and end up damaging the paint. Then you’d have to patch it or repaint the wall altogether.
Instead of guessing, you can use our 9-step cleaning method for painting walls. By step 9 your walls will be clean and you won’t have to worry about a thing.
Here are those 9 steps:
Well, before we get into the steps, you’ll want to know the type of paint on your walls first.
Flat/matte paints need more careful cleaning. If you scrub too hard or too much the paint can start coming off of the walls.
Eggshell sheens are barely better for cleaning than flat/matte. Satin and glossy sheens are much easier to wash but you still don’t want to scrub too hard.
You won’t want to use ammonia or products with ammonia. They can soften the latex paint and damage it.
Protecting the look of your home’s interior is very important. After all, homes are one of the biggest investments people make. Now you can keep your walls clean and beautiful.
Talk to a specialist. We'll assess your surfaces, recommend the right system, and give you a clear, honest estimate.
